Shiga Kogen Mountain Resorts
Shiga Kogen is one of the largest snow resorts in Japan and is located in Yamanouchi Town in the northeastern part of Nagano Prefecture.
The resort is made up of 18 unique ski resorts, which can be enjoyed by both beginners and advanced skiers. The lifts, gondolas, and free shuttle buses allow skiers/snowboarders to travel freely between ski resorts.
In addition, Shiga Kogen, with its various volcanoes, has been known as a hot spring resort for about 170 years.

Ryuoo Ski Park
The panoramic view of the sea of clouds from the top of the 1,770-meter-high Ryuo Ski Park is spectacular. There is also the SORA terrace cafe near the top.
